Cosmic Gate remixes don’t happen all that often, but when they do, lightning tends to strike. Their last – the pair’s rework of Gabriel & Dresden’s ‘Only Road’ – brought a Grammy nom Nic & Bossi’s way and with their follow up CG send some remix flame Armin van Buuren’s way. Having reworked several of the Dutchman’s productions over the years (‘Pulsar’, ‘Rain’ and ‘The World Is Watching’ among them), the duo have now gotten to grips with ’Something Real’ from Armin’s ‘Balance’ album. Big of bass, uplifting of synth and capitalising no end on Jordan Shaw’s anthemic vocal, Cosmic Gate’s rebuild drops today.
